Can you make your own sound book? After you have learned a new sound, write it in your book! Then see if you can draw some pictures with that sound and label its name.

Maths

I hope you had fun doubling through painting on Wednesday! Today we are going to double amounts of food.

You will need:

  • 2 plates
  • any food e.g. fruit (it could be sliced or orange segments), dry pasta etc.

Give yourself and your adult a plate each. The adult will place an amount of food on their plate e.g. 5 grapes. Can you double 5? Remember to make the same set on your plate! You should put 5 grapes on your plate too. Count all of the grapes together to see what double 5 is- 10!

Play this game a few times with different amounts!

I hope you have a lovely weekend! It is also half term from Monday 25th May - Friday 29th May, I hope you take this as a break from all the hard work you have been doing at home. Thank you to all the parents who are doing their best to support home learning, you deserve a great week off too! Enjoy going out for walks or playing a game at the park, remember your 2-meter distance.

Thank you for sending in pictures of your learning from home. I will be posting some more pictures onto our WOW Board for you to see once we return back from half term.

I wish you all the best and I can't wait to hear what you get up to! Speak to you soon!
