Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo

We have been focusing on this book in English and Reading.  The children have been learning the features of Balanced Argument and Diary Entries. They have created their own balanced arguments and have written a few diary entries.

This week we are learning about  Division in Maths.

Division is the operation that is the opposite of multiplication and it involves splitting into equal parts or groups.

Short division is a quick and effective method to work out division with larger numbers.

Long division is a method that is used when dividing a large number (usually three digits or more) by a two-digit (or larger) number.
