We have finished learning all the sounds for Reception! Today we are going to practise blending and reading words in a sentence substitution activity. Read the sentence and then change some of the words to make a new sentence. Remember the sentence has to make sense.

This week we are learning to tell the time. I hope you had fun making your own clocks, use these to help you with today's task!
We now know that clocks have numbers, long and short hands. The short hand is the hour hand and the long hand is the minute hand. When the short hand points to any number that is the hour and we say the number name. When the long hand points to 12 we say o'clock. Look at the example below:
The time is 3 o'clock
